Why Brown Tyes Academy — And Why Now
Brown Tyes Academy was born out of a vision—one rooted in necessity, intention, and the desire to fill a critical gap. Our youngest learners often dream of becoming doctors, astronauts, or artists. But what if we inspired them to see the magic of becoming an educator? An educator who is also an innovator, a creator, a motivator—someone who shapes futures with the same reverence as any other profession.
There is no single mold for what an educator should be. But imagine if, from the very beginning of a child's educational journey, they were inspired by someone who lights a spark—who shows that teaching is not just a job, but a calling. Brown Tyes Academy is that spark. A place where education is not only delivered, but lived—with passion, creativity, and cultural reflection.
As an educator, I’ve walked into countless homes providing parenting education. I’ve supported families in classrooms, IEP and 504 meetings, wraparound sessions, and reunification plans. I’ve facilitated parenting groups—all with one goal: to help build healthy, nurturing home environments.
