Brown Tyes Academy (BTA) Program Overview
Brown Tyes Academy (BTA) utilizes the HighScope Curriculum, complemented by the Learning Without Tears program, to deliver a high-quality, developmentally appropriate early education experience. Our curriculum is rooted in intentional play-based learning, with a strong emphasis on social-emotional development, literacy, and hands-on exploration.

BTA proudly serves children ages 3 months to 5 years, with an additional afterschool component designed for students in 1st through 3rd grade. Our inclusive approach ensures that all children feel seen, valued, and celebrated within a culturally reflective and nurturing environment.
As part of our extended mission, BTA also offers Brown Tyes Connect—a supportive family engagement program that provides parenting education, school navigation assistance, and community-based consulting. This secondary program is designed to uplift families by offering wraparound supports tailored to their unique needs within education and parenting.
